Self-Regulation eBook

Materials and Structure

Throughout Prepped 4 Learning, there are numerous activities recommended. All student activities for the Self-Regulation component can be found in this manual. There are options for the specific activities you might introduce, so please choose according to the needs, skills and ages of the students with whom you work. Teachers, you will notice many elements to this manual that reappear throughout. Let us take a minute to explain them in advance, even though they are largely self-explanatory. The manual is essentially designed as a guide to help you teach your students how to self-regulate in order to work through various problems and scenarios in the classroom, and it provides you with discussion topics, activities, and suggested scripts. These are not carved in stone, but are meant as direction markers. Having said that, Prepped 4 Learning may be most effective when the sequence described herein is followed as closely as possible. With that in mind, here are a few words explaining the various directions and elements you’ll encounter inside.
